DOUGLASVILLE, Georgia — Lois Ann Williams, age 77, of Douglasville, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 22, 2018.
Ann was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in Mableton where she taught a Children’s Sunday School Class, worked at Mother’s Morning Out and was a member of the Love Sunday School Class.
She graduated from Rogersville, TN High School in 1958 and then moved to Atlanta with her family. She attended Georgia State University and worked at the Georgia Department of Transportation before becoming a full time loving and caring housewife and mother.
Ann is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack Williams; sons, Rich (Tracey) Williams of Douglasville, Jim (Amy) Williams of Cochran, and John (Debbie) Williams of Douglasville; five grandchildren, Jackie, Jacob, Henry, Molly, and Savannah; step-grandchild, Amber (Evan) Bruton; three step-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law; nephews; an aunt and uncle as well as numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 25, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
Ann will lie in state from 12 noon until 2 p.m. before the service on Thursday.
