if we can get Derrick Favors And Kenny Boynton join the verbal committs that hewwit has it will be the best class and with the pottential class that will be there when the year comes having miller, lawal shumpert, can the 09 season be special if every thing falls in place with recruiting

It certainly can be. Any team with that type of a cast is going to be tough to deal with. IMO, the most important key will be guard depth, which GT hasn't really had since 2003-2005. Barring injury/unforeseen attrition, GT will have that with Miller, Shumpert, Udofia, Storrs, Rice, etc. Wow...scary. If GT is able to assemble the class now + Favors and possibly Boynton, expectations will be huge for 2009-2010. Anything less than Sweet 16 that year would have to be considered a monumental failure.

Yeah, if that class comes together, and we will finally have some depth and experience at point guard. Despite a lot of talent coming through, we haven't been well-developed at the point since Jack left.

Yes. If Peacock continues to progress as an Inside-out player, and Gani gets another year stronger, we will definitely have the ability to win it all. Our Front Court would be incredibly powerful, the only problem would be depth. The Backcourt would also be very deep.
