Tech has 7 games left in the regualr season and the ACC final standings. Will Tech break .500 this year? My prediction is 22-13 (acc 9-9 reg season). This after the NC game record.

I'll go with 20-10 (regular season), 20-12 (over all). Unless what I saw happen against NCSU is immediately corrected (what are the chances?) we don't win more than 3 more games.

MIA/WFU we will go 1W 1L. We can't win on the road, but I'm hoping for one out of two there. (18-7)

UNC--we lose. I hate UNC with every fiber of my being, but they always seem to beat us especially when they stink (e.g. 1990 football GT is 11-0-1, UNC is 6-4-1 and kept us from being outright MNC). I have tix and will be there, so we will lose--blame this one on me. It will happen, I don't care how bad they are. Refs will definitely play a large role in this one. (18-8)

@ MD we lose. (18-9)

BC @ home we win (19-9)

@ Clemson we lose (19-10)

VT @ home, PH playing for his job (he thinks) and a tourney slot, we pull that one off. (20-10)

Lose first round of ACC, lose first round of NCAA. We can't shot free throws, we can't handle pressure, we can't defend the three, we turn the ball over 20+ times both games. SOS, we go 20-12 and PH is shocked when DRad (my hero) fires him. A man can dream!

There are only 16 conference games and we're gonna finish up 9-7 in ACC play...

4 weeks to go (we are 5-4 in ACC play):

Week 1 (this week):  @ Miami and @ Wake.  2 road games, I believe we'll win ONE. (6-5)

Week 2:  UNC and Maryland (both at home):  I think we will slip up against Maryland and win ONE vs. unc.(7-6)

Week 3:  BC at home.  I think we win this one.  (8-6)

Week 4:  @ Clemson and home vs VT.  I think we split these to finish up (9-7) in ACC play.

10-6 in ACC. 3 seed in ACCT win 1 then lose to UMD. 4 seed in NCAA's.

22-8 regular season. A young team gets better toward the end of the season and pulls off some big wins on pure athleticism despite Hewitt's game management. We'll probably win one or two in the ACC tourney, but will lose in ugly fashion, very possibly to a significanlty less talented opponent. We most likely get a 4 or 5 seed in the NCAA tourney, maybe make a run to the sweet 16 or elite 8 and lose ugly once again.

8-8 ACC season; one and done in the ACCT; one and done in the NIT. Hewitt returns for an even worse performance next season.

With 6 games left, after the LOSS to Miami
Looking like (praying for)at least 8 - 8 in the ACC, thus 20-10 before post season play.

Would not be surprised with 0 - 2 post season, based on the way we have played the last three games.
