Wow. The NCSU game was the first of a four game ticket package that I got this year. I will go to exactly three more games while PH is coach. I am off the fence. He can't coach his way out of a paper bag. We couldn't get a pass inbounds for the last 3 minutes. Once or twice I understand. PH is awful.

I was willing to give him a break on the Duke game but not this one. This was the most pathetic example of coaching down the stretch that I've seen in a while.

Can't run an in-bounds play against the press.
Can't shoot free throws.
Horrible clock management with a big lead.
Ugh.

Almost gave the game away with a 14 point lead with 3 and 1/2 minutes in the game.

Should've won this game in a walk.

Never have I seen a more pathetic display of basketball than in the last 3 1/2 minutes of this game. We did not deserve to win. GT may be the most poorly coached team in the history of the game.

NYJacket,
Not trying to be a jerk, I am curious to hear from guys who like Hewitt. What do you like about him? Do you like the way things are going?

I've supported hewitt on here up until this years uga game. I've lost all hope in his turning things around. The duke game and the end of the ncst game are unfortunately very typical performances. Missed layups, free throws, failure to execute simple plays, and horrible game management down the stretch. Ever see coach k blow a double digit lead in the final three minutes of a game? No, because it never happens. Has anyone else noticed how overwhelmed hewitt seems? He has the look and demeanor of a man who can't handle his position and who has no idea how to fix what has been wrong with his teams for years. It's too bad he has that ridiculous contract. If hewitt is around for another season, can DRad at least have every assistant replaced? Then maybe we can keep hewitt's recruiting but have some actual coaches too.

How much is his buyout? If he doesn't take this team to at least the sweet 16, along with a good showing in the ACC, it's time to write that check and cut our losses. And if we do achieve those goals, we will need a similar season next year just for some badly-needed consistency. What are the odds on that happening with favors, peacock, and lawal all gone? We will need another favors-esque big man.

It's obvious that PH ain't much of a coach but during those last few minutes the kids looked clueless. I would think that as much Bball as they've played combined with their own, idividual skill sets that they could function better. Their instincts looked poor.

I've seen that inbounds play where you line up the four offensive players in a straight line and everyone breaks a different direction work against man defense. Hewitt is the first coach I have ever seen use that against a zone press like we were facing. The NCSU players were looking at our guys like WTF are you doing? And our guys were looking back like IDK.

I am not a Hewitt fan. You have me confused with a guy that goes by the handle "NJCityJacket".

Does Buffalo need a coach? Reunite Gomer and Blewitt and their GT "pensions."
