No hewitt will not make the NCAA. I knew that before the first practice. He is not starting one of the top five either, BTW. Favors should be 6th man.

I predict being on the bubble, squeaking into the NCAA's and getting beat by a school that only few have ever heard.

I dunno...in a down year for the conference I think it's going to take 8-8 (at the minimum) in the ACC to get in. I honestly am not sure we can get there. We have to win at least one on the road and hold serve at home against the likes of UNC, Clemson, WF, etc. Not a gimme by any stretch.

I thought it would be tough after the UVA loss too, but this win @ UNC will certainly help. Our RPI will be top 30 after this, and if UVA turns out to be a 5-7 seed in the ACC tourney that loss could look not as bad.

Our RPI was 48 after the UVA loss. We'll see what happens tomorrow, but UNC isn't very good RPI-wise...as an ACC team we really only need to get into the top 30 of the RPI and get another big road win (@ Clemson would seal the deal)

Untill we can shoot free throws (which will never happen with Hewitt because he recruits street ballers) we will never sniff a championship.

It's pretty sad we can never hit free points. Each year we MAYBE have one starter shooting over 80% at the line.
