Gani is displaying an assortment of post moves this year and looks more explosive than ever off the floor.  18 and 9 in the 1st half tonight.

This is a different team that what we've had in recent years.  More athletic, better ballhandling and more inside scoring.

Sounded like at the press conference tonight that Hewitt is expecting Clinch to come back in January.

Storrs looked like a player tonight, big thick dude for a wing.  He brought the ball up against the press at Columbia so we know he can handle the ball.  He may be the X factor this year if we're going to make some noise.

Another thing I want to see us improve on this year is the turnovers.  We have been plagued by them in recent years.

The team still needs Mo Miller to play a better point guard. Gani did display a nice Bank Shot but he'll get killed in ACC play. He's still growing though and if we land Derrick Favors (please God be good to us) look out a Frontcout of Favors, Gani, and Peacock would be absolutely filthy. I love how Peacock is moving to become a Rasheed Wallace type player I think that's brilliant and the team has a little bit of depth too with Storrs. I don't think we'll be great this year but next year if we get Favors. Preseason top 10 for sure, and possible Final Four contenders.

Surprised your so up on this team Bee, that is good to hear, because I am pretty down.  I have not seen the team, but from what I saw last year I expect little.  I guess the most frustrating part is Hewitt's attitude.  I heard him speak about last years results as a big part of it was schelduling (wow what a excuse).  Also he went on to speak about how we played good basketball last year.  This made me sick.  Good basketball should reach the NCAA.  This is Hewitt's last year on my watch.  I have held out long enought giving him more time.  No NCAA this year, and I want him fired with or without Favors, dont care.

TH, new season we'll see what happens.  Gani looks like he's going to be big time this year and we haven't had a big time scorer on the blocks in years.  Then there's Mo Miller who is a very good point guard, we haven't had one of those in a few years either.  Those are the 2 key positions on the floor.  The equation has changed.

I'm going into this year with an open mind.  Will be at most of the home games and a few away games too, you'll get the real deal here, I won't sugar coat.

Oh I know your straight up Bee.  I do agree with you on Gani, and Miller as I thought last year they would be great this year, but after those two there is very little to go around.

Gani looks like he may have put on at least 25 lbs.
