lol thats funny,I don't think CG is taking the GT coaches and other college coaches so he can hurt the team..That would mean he had a thought out plan which we know isn't possible for Chan.. He's taken them because no NFL coaches are dumb enough to jump on the sinking ship that Chan is running..

Ask yourself this if you were a good assistant NFL coach would you leave your job to join the Chanster NO-NO you wouldn't. Right now Chans putting together a future out of work staff

As far as the coaches he has taken from us I have no problem with unless he comes after PJ in which case he would get laughed out of the room for doing because PJ is way to smart to jump on a sinking ship and I also could careless if CG is a dog fan really..

I've posted several times I thought Chan would rather have been a coach at UGAg than at Tech... On a deep, subconcious level, I don't think he could ever bring himself to beat the dogs. (Bill Lewis should also never have been hired: 1980-88, Georgia, assistant coach)

True, it probably would've been easier for him.........but they wouldn't have accepted 8 win seasons w/losses similar to the Duke debacle or getting blown out in crappy bowl games.

Lewis was a Tech assistant before he was a UGA assistant.

It does defy belief that anyone would hire this moron again, and it is possible that he is a closet dog. At a minimum, he was Mark Richt's beeatch. And to think, there is still a group of Tech fans singing the praises of this arrogant dullard.

Only for a short while in '71/'72... He went over to the 'dark side' for nine seasons during what was arguably their heyday period. You can't coach for a team that long, especially one as beloved in the state as UGAg, and not develop a certain loyalty for the program. Many coaches these days (like Gailey) have a mercenary attitude. Prior to about 1990, the mercenary attitude was a bit less prevalent, with coaches staying with a particular team for longer stretches. Bill Lewis was at UGAg long enough to become a 'dawg', and a dawg like Lewis should never have been considered for the head coaching job at Tech (successor to Boss Ross, no less...).

Agreed....which is just one of the reasons why I DID NOT WANT Musdoggie as HC!!!
