Wow, that's actually very helpful for us! We get Clempson on a saturday, then a whole 10 days until we play VT on Thursday, then another 10 days before Miami.

Yeah, the home schedule definitely sucks, but I like how the overall schedule lays out. Our tough games are well spaced. Clem, Vt, Miami is the worst stretch, but because the VT game is a thursday night, we get a long week for that one and the Miami game.

Ya, the space b4 and after the VT game helps with that. Overall, this schedule lays out nicely for us. Can't complain.

Yep, no reason to believe we shouldn't come into Oct. 23rd with a 7-0 mark. But I know:

Don't count your chickens!!!

Looking for 12 with a possibility of more.

Ok, I've done some research. Notable thoughts/findings:

1) UNC gets a bye week before us - 14 days to prepare. Unlucky, but oh well.

2) Miami/VT/UGA are probably our 3 toughest games. Getting them late in the year is good since our defense will get time to learn the 3-4.

3) VT has a bye week before us too. So both teams will have 11 days of rest going into a Thursday night game in Lane. Can you say "big game?"

4) UGA has the week off before us. Again, unlucky, but the team coming off the bye-week has lost the last two games in the series...

5) Overall nice layout, Defintely backloaded, but we got some rest between those games (kind of like Miami in 2009). Clemson/VT/Miami/UGA in the last 5 games sounds brutal at first. But we get 11 days between CU/VT. Then 9 days before Miami. Then Duke before UGA. I think it was very important to be bacloaded this year with the new defensive scheme. Not the perfect schedule, but I would give it an 8-out-of-10 in terms of giving us the best oppurtunity to win each game.

Would have been Ole Miss.  Or MTSU would have been Ole Miss- not sure which one.  But not really our fault.  At least MTSU was a 10 win team and won their bowl game over a decent Southern Miss team.
