Put an extra 12-pack in the cooler or another bottle of your favorite under the seat and don't hesitate to go to it early and often, damnit we gotta have this one tonight.  Starting tonight the next 9 days are what we talk about and can't wait for all year.

Miami game, Thanksgiving, Georgia game.  Life is good.

It sure is. I really hate the team has turned out to be so inconsistent of late. I really don't know what to expect from them for this game. Yes, there are valid reasons for the inconsistency.

From GW (down), to Clemson (up-somewhat), to Virginia (down), to FSU (up), to UNC (down), it's been a rollercoaster. Looks like we're due for an UP.

Uh oh...according to the pattern, an up this week would be followed by a down next week!  I'd rather have another down followed by a big up.  Or preferably an up and another up, but that would buck the trend.

Lets get the one this week and worry about the trends later, Helluva.  A bush in the hand is worth a million birds or more ...  :D

Had to be in my car for a while today in Tampa.  Sports radio is humming with Miami fans touting Randy Shannon for COY. It is a foregone conclusion among their faithful that Miami is in the Orange Bowl already.  Very strange.

I agree, this is definitely a must win.  I previously posted that a loss tonight sets the table for potentially four straight losses to end our season with all the angst that would accompany that dreaded course of events.

I am more confident about this game than any game this year.  I think we match up well with another very young squad.  I have zero, repeat, zero respect for Patrick Nix as a coordinator, and I feel our defense will completely throttle a young, inexperienced, erratic freshman qb (Marve). The most important thing is to keep Miami's defense on the field for extended periods of time--and I think we can do that. Git-R-done.

From the meaningless stat dept:

We are 4-1 outright and 3-1 against the spread in Atlanta this year.
