The athletics department had initially pegged the Mississippi State game in September for the whiteout, but pushed it back to give students more time to organize.

Give them time to organize what?  Finding a white T-shirt or polo shirt in their closet?  Hell, I wore a white shirt to the MSU game on my own accord anyway.  I know I'm a broken record at this point, but a white out for the MSU game makes so much more sense.  And why did they have to push it back 2 months?  A whiteout for the UVA game would've been ok, or even the FSU game.  But a night game in November?  Ok, I'm done.

I don't really buy the "more time" reason.  I think it had everything to do with TV.  They wanted a good look on TV for the effort of putting it on, and the Thursday night game was the guaranteed ESPN national coverage.  Smart move if people actually comply.

My wardrobe for tonight in order of layer (bottom to top):

2 pairs of socks
Shoes
Athletic shorts (and yes, boxers underneath- no stupid comments)
Jeans
T-shirt
Sweatshirt
Long-sleeve white T-shirt (non-GT)
White GT T-shirt

This isn't hard guys.  Best part is I can remove layers if it really isn't that cold even without a coat.

Are you watching the game in Sarah Palin's front yard?  That is quite an outfit.  You will definitely be the warmest person there.  Good luck peeing.

Hmmm.  I hadn't considered that- maybe I'll skip the athletic shorts.

As an aside for anyone considering not wearing white- think about all of the white t-shirts and cold tatas to behold.  If you don't wear white to support that, they may not do it again.  Cmon, be a man and support cold boobies!

The report  I heard was the white out was pushed back to give SGA more time to prepare. I'd assume they are talking about buying more t shirts and pom-pons, but yeah they were planing it back last year so I don't understand why they would need more time.
