This is just funny. I didn't realize they knew how to make websites...

if the boys are gonna get a paycheck by playing on Sundays don't try and guilt trip them into staying. They deserve to move on and play at the next level assuming they get drafted, especially in a sport where careers can end abruptly.

This is sad. I know most GT fans didn't want Calvin to go but everyone understood he must. Just read the first page and the poor grammar. How embarrassing.

Please everyone load up this putrid site with slander.

Drat, I posted some wonderfully encouraging words, but was immediately told that my post would be displayed after a short approval process.  Oh, well.  Everyone would've gotten a kick out of what I wrote ... :-)

This is absolutely retarded but totally in line with UGA fans. I gave my two cents worth (they probably filter and won't post). It wasn't vulgar or overly nasty but just the reality of NoShow and NoPro.

I heard them say on 680 the other day that Fatford will be a better pro QB than he is a college QB. What a bunch of crap! Anyone remember the last Georgia QB they said that about? Quincy Carter! Thank god that crack head switched his commitment.

One reason they both leave this year... The NFL will be addressing rookie pay when they renegotiate their collective bargaining agreement w the NFLPA. All sources are pointing to a renegotiation this off season, after the draft... what this most likely means is... 2010 rookie salary cap.

This draft will most likely be the last where unproven NFL first rounders will be getting paid more than the league's proven superstars.

Moreno and Stafford may be football players at uGA... but I think they're smart enough to figure this one out.

In addition to Tom Brady, Brad Johnson was a backup QB at FSU and has since been to 2 Pro Bowls and led Tampa Bay to a Super Bowl win.

Hey I didn't know that next year they don't have an open date before they play us. THis is like the first time that has happened since 1892.

And Matt Cassel.  I would think Kurt Warner and Tony Romo would also qualify.

Didn't Tom Brady take down Bama in the Orange Bowl(?) while at Mich.?

In the 1999 season, Brady led Michigan to an overtime win in the Orange Bowl over Alabama, throwing for 369 yards and four touchdowns.

That game against Bama is very SIMILAR to one of his games that he has had since joining the Pats, just because someone isn't drafted very high doesn't mean they weren't very good in College.

The way that Matt Cassell has played is showing that the NE Team is a huge part of Brady's success also.

Brad Johnson was a game "manager" he has never really played at a very high level in the NFL, not to the extent that his name would roll off of a fans lips when asked about QBs back during Brad's heyday.

Either way it is very rare.

Tony Romo was fairly dominant on his level in College.

Matt Cassell hasn't played enough FB for us to know enough about him.

Well obviously the player had to be good to be drafted at all, but your statement was that when has a QB been better in NFL than in college.  I would say Brady setting the NFL records for passing TD and yds in a season, as well as leading a team to 4 superbowls, 3 of them championships is better than getting an Orange bowl win.  That's just me.

I do agree that it is rare that a QB will do better in NFL than in college. The talent/speed/player intelligence you play against is just so much better.
